In Term 1, Year 12 Chemistry study Fermentation and make wine and cheese. The students are given eight kilograms of green grapes to make wine, and 10 litres of un-homogenised milk to make a cheese of their choice, from scratch. It’s great fun! On Wednesday night, our Year 12 students and parents and members of our School community sampled their hard work. Some of the cheeses included Camembert, Rosemary Fetta, Haloumi and Blue. Everyone got to vote for their favourites (a cheese off??) and the Rosemary Fetta was declared the winner!
