Visual Art at Hillbrook

Visual Art is well supported at Hillbrook. We understand that to prepare young people for an ever-changing world and for careers we have not yet imagined, we must foster their adaptability, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Hillbrook Visual Art

The Art Centre is a studio-style environment where students learn to explore their creativity, build confidence and understand more about themselves and the world.

Art students explore a wide range of media areas including painting, drawing, photography (film & digital), film & video and 3D media. There are very few restrictions on what our students are able to do, particularly in the senior years. We also offer wider activities, including excursions, workshops and artists in residence. Our ‘Art-rageous Tuesdays’ lunchtime sessions are very popular with art and non-art students looking for a bigger slice of creativity in their lives.

Art and English are my favourite subjects at Hillbrook because I love to create art and write.
