How to get to Hillbrook

Hillbrook is situated in Hurdcotte Street, Enoggera. Just a 15 minute drive or train trip from the city.

Our students travel from all over Brisbane and we are handy to public bus and train routes.

Buses

The Enoggera Bus interchange is located at Enoggera Station, within walking distance to Hillbrook. There are many suburb options from this interchange, please click here for more information.

There is a morning and afternoon bus service, operated by Brisbane Bus Lines (BBL) that runs from Samford to Ferny Grove Station and from Ferny Grove Station to Samford each day. This service is available to students from various local schools.

Hillbrook also runs a private charter through BBL that takes students from Hillbrook to Samford and surrounding areas every afternoon via two routes, leaving Hillbrook at 3:30pm each day. If you are interested in registering for this service please email communications@hillbrook.qld.edu.au 

H1 – Highvale Loop (commences set downs on Samford Road and continues to Mt Glorious Road, Parkwood Drive, Greenwood Drive, Hulcombe Road, Ryder Road, Showgrounds Drive, Vito Rosso Drive and Westwood Drive). The bus driver will stop anywhere along the route when it is safe to do so.

H2 – Camp Mountain, Wights Mountain and North Samford (turns off to Camp Mountain Road from Samford Road, McLean Road South, Nullamanna Road, Warrandyte Court, Upper Camp Mountain Road, Richards Road, Wights Mountain Road, Westbourne Drive, Main Street, Mount Samson Road finishing at the Woods Road bus interchange).

BBL is part of the Queensland Transport School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS) which provides subsidised (free) travel through to the nearest State High School, for our Samford students this is Ferny Grove State High. For more information on this scheme please click here.

Trains

Hillbrook is in walking distance from Gaythorne and Enoggera Stations 

Parking

The easiest access to the School is via the Eastern carpark next to the Administration building on Hurdcotte Street.

Parking is also available down near the Rugby Club in the Hillbrook carpark as well as in the Rugby carpark in Mott Street.

Bicycles and Walking Tracks

We have an end of journey bike facility for students who wish to ride their bike to school. Hillbrook is close to many off road bike ways. Please click here for more information.
