Basement Arts

We love performing art at Hillbrook. So much so, that when our students leave at the end of Year 12, they often express how they feel a void, an empty space they seemingly can’t get rid of.
Hence, Basements Arts was formed, a community theatre company that allows past students to reunite and rediscover their creative spirit.
Basement Arts is student focused; a community group that encourages both the creative team within the Drama department and past and current students to work collaboratively to shape engaging theatre.

Basement Arts produces a number of plays each year, for our current Drama students, the extended Hillbrook community and the general public. Members of the company get the opportunity to work with current students and teachers in all forms of theatre (on stage and behind the scenes).
